Hollywood, FL Pickleball Courts: Free City Parks Guide

Hollywood, FL has two free, city-run pickleball locations: Stanley Goldman Memorial Park and Jefferson Park. Both are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation required, confirmed against the City of Hollywood's own facility pages on hollywoodfl.org, checked October 31, 2026.

Stanley Goldman Memorial Park: 9 courts, lighted, free

Stanley Goldman Memorial Park sits at 800 Knights Road and has 9 dedicated pickleball courts with permanent lines and nets. The courts are free to play and lit for evening games, open sunrise to sunset like every City of Hollywood park, per the city's own facility listing. The park also has a fitness trail, a fishing area, a playground, picnic areas, a dog park and a skatepark, with restrooms and water on site. The City of Hollywood Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department can be reached at (954) 921-3404. See the full listing.

The city rents out its outdoor sports courts for private, exclusive-use bookings at $10.49 per hour with a $50 damage deposit; non-residents pay a 50 percent surcharge and nonprofits with a tax-exempt certificate get 30 percent off. That rental rate is for blocked-off private time only. Regular open play on the pickleball courts is free and first-come, first-served, no booking needed.

Jefferson Park: 5 outdoor courts, no lights

Jefferson Park at 1501 Jefferson Street has 5 outdoor concrete pickleball courts, also free and first-come, first-served. Unlike Stanley Goldman, these courts are not lit, so plan on daylight play, and parking is street parking only. The park also has four tennis courts, two basketball courts, two bocce courts, a baseball and softball field, a gazebo and a playground. The same city parks line, (954) 921-3404, covers questions about this park too. See the full listing.

Which one to pick

Stanley Goldman is the bigger pickleball setup in the city system: 9 courts versus 5, and lights mean play can continue after sunset. Jefferson Park is smaller and daylight-only, but it sits closer to downtown Hollywood and pairs pickleball with a fuller multi-sport park if a group has mixed interests in tennis or basketball on the same visit.
