The Pickle Ball tournament runs November 13 to 15, 2026 at Diadem Emerald Coast, 17610 Ashley Drive in Panama City Beach, Florida. Registration is open on pickleballtournaments.com (checked October 27, 2026), with tiered entry fees: $70 through October 7, $80 through November 3, and $85 through November 11. As of the October 27 check, 52 players had registered, with the field capped around 350 players once projected court capacity for a given day is reached.
The event is a DUPR-based skill and age tournament, so players enter brackets matched to their rated level rather than a self-reported skill tier. It runs at Diadem's new indoor facility in Panama City Beach Commerce Park, a 25,000-square-foot complex with nine regulation smart courts wired with AI cameras and the PlaySight system for match recording, plus two pickleball simulators, according to a WJHG report published August 8, 2026. The same report noted the facility opened not long after Panama City Beach approved a separate $1.2 million contract for eight free outdoor courts at Frank Brown Park.
Other places to play pickleball in Panama City
Players based closer to Panama City proper, rather than the beach, have two active options on record:
- Oakland Terrace Recreation Center, 1900 11th St W: 5 free outdoor courts with permanent lines, nets and lights, confirmed on the City of Panama City's own sporting locations page.
- Papa Joe's Pickleball, 4601 US-98: 4 outdoor courts on the bay, open play at $10 per session, with guest passes and memberships for regulars. Papa Joe's has hosted its own tournaments before, including the Commodore Pickleball Extravaganza benefiting Gulf Coast State College athletics.
Between a DUPR-rated tournament at a brand new indoor complex on the beach and free city courts a few miles inland, the Panama City area now covers both ends of the sport. See the full list at the Panama City, FL court directory.
