Manhattan has ten active pickleball venues split two ways: free courts in city parks with no reservation system, and paid indoor clubs with memberships or day rates. Here is what each one currently offers.
Free pickleball courts in Manhattan city parks
- Riverside Park Pickleball Courts: 6 outdoor courts, free, lines painted with no permanent nets, bring your own net. Open sunrise to sunset.
- William F. Passannante Ballfield, 6th Avenue: 5 outdoor courts, free, bring your own net. Open play Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call (212) 639-9675 for details.
- East River Park, 540 Delancey Street: 4 outdoor courts, free, permanent lines. Open sunrise to sunset.
None of these three city courts take reservations and none have permanent nets except where noted, so bring your own if the listing says lines only.

The rink converts to ice skating outside that window, so the courts are closed for the season as of this guide's publish date and are expected back when the 2026 outdoor season reopens.
