Naples pickleball courts split between two agencies. The City of Naples runs Fleischmann Park, and Collier County Parks and Recreation runs the larger public facilities, including the courts at East Naples Community Park that host the US Open Pickleball Championships. Fleischmann Park has two courts, not six
The City of Naples page for Fleischmann Park, 1600 Fleischmann Blvd, lists "Two (2) lighted multipurpose courts (pickleball/basketball)." Several pickleball directories list six courts at this address. The city's own page shows two lighted courts that share space with basketball, reservable by calling (239) 213-3020. General park hours run 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
That matters if you are picking a court based on how many people can play at once. Waiting for one shared multipurpose court is a different experience than rotating through a bank of six.
East Naples Community Park: the open play schedule
Collier County's page for East Naples Community Park, home to the USOP National Pickleball Center at 3500 Thomasson Drive, lists 59 pickleball courts plus 6 championship courts, 65 total. Organized play runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, with open play available the rest of the day. Access costs $5 per day or $50 for an annual pass. The park phone number is (239) 252-4414.
The 65 courts make this the largest dedicated pickleball facility in Collier County. The six championship courts host tournament play, including the annual US Open Pickleball Championships held on site.
Veterans Community Park's address
Collier County lists Veterans Community Park at 1895 Veterans Park Drive, Naples, FL 34109. That is not Seward Avenue, a different street a few miles away where Pickleball Kingdom Naples sits. Veterans Community Park has 14 pickleball courts, 8 unlighted and 6 lighted, open daily 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The park phone number is (239) 252-4682.
The unlit courts are hard to use once the sun goes down, even though the park stays open until 10 p.m. The six lighted courts are the ones to look for if you want to play after dark.
