Match Point Pickleball Club turns one year old this November, and it is marking the anniversary with a three-day tournament: the Match Point Championships, November 6-8, 2026, at 350 McCormick Blvd in Columbus. Registration is $55 per player and closes November 2, 2026. As of October 9, 2026, the tournament's own listing on pickleballtournaments.com showed 272 players registered, with Selkirk as title sponsor.
How the weekend is structured
Friday runs a "Moneyball" format split into three brackets by combined DUPR rating: 7.5 and under, 7.5 to 9.0, and 9.0 and above. Each bracket plays a three-game minimum and splits a combined $3,000 prize pool. Saturday switches to Gender Doubles and Singles, five-game minimum. Sunday closes with Mixed Doubles, also a five-game minimum. A DUPR audit is scheduled for the Monday before the tournament to confirm players land in the right bracket, and refunds are available through the Sunday before play starts. Food trucks and vendors run on site for the weekend. Source: pickleballtournaments.com tournament listing, checked October 9, 2026.
The venue: 38 indoor courts
Match Point Pickleball Club runs 38 climate-controlled indoor courts, so the tournament is unaffected by Ohio's early-November weather. Match Point's own site, checked October 9, 2026, cites a CourtSource ranking of #7 nationally and #1 in Ohio among indoor pickleball facilities. Outside of tournament weekends, play at Match Point runs on a membership model; the club's phone number is (614) 569-2556.
