On September 27, 2026 we checked Greenville County Parks, Recreation & Tourism's pickleball page, plus each county venue's own park page, against what we had published for the same seven courts. The court counts held up. Two things did not: a phone number on our page pointed to the wrong desk, and the county's own posted hours for one center do not add up to a real schedule.
The county courts, confirmed
Greenville County runs four of the pickleball venues on our Greenville page, and the county's numbers match ours exactly. Northside Park has 6 dedicated outdoor courts. East Riverside Park has 18, which the county's own site calls "the Upstate's largest pickleball complex." Sterling Community Center and Pavilion Recreation Complex each run 3 indoor courts. The outdoor courts are first come, first served with no reservations; the two indoor centers say to contact the facility for open play access.
Two of those courts are not actually in Greenville
The county's own park pages list East Riverside Park's address as 1155 S Suber Rd, Greer, SC 29650, and Pavilion Recreation Complex's address as 400 Scottswood Rd, Taylors, SC 29687. Both are part of the county recreation system that serves the whole Greenville area, which is why we and most other directories group them under Greenville. If you are driving from downtown, budget extra time. Northside Park (101 West Darby Rd) and Sterling Community Center (113 Minus St) are both listed at Greenville, SC addresses, so those two stay put.
The phone number we fixed
Our page for Sterling Community Center listed the general Greenville County Parks admin line, 864-288-6470, the same number posted for Northside and East Riverside. The center's own page lists a different, direct number, 864-235-4026. We have corrected it.
An hours line that does not add up
Sterling Community Center's own page says pickleball is "Available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-12am." Nine in the morning to midnight is a 15-hour open play block, which is not realistic for a 3-court community center. The page does not say which number is wrong, so we are not guessing at a fix. Call 864-235-4026 before you go on one of those three days.
The three private clubs, unchanged
We also checked the three membership and pay-to-play courts on our Greenville page against their own sites. PKL Park confirmed 8 lighted courts at 78 Mayberry St, open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Picklr Greenville confirmed 8 indoor courts at 2435 E North St, with membership starting at $89 a month. Greenville Pickleball Academy confirmed 9 indoor courts at 304 Arcadia Dr. All three matched what we had published, so nothing changed except the verification date.
